Actuarial Analyst

Malath Insurance

Actuarial Group lead at Malath, focusing on enhancing data related matters and creating a robust Actuarial setup. 

Was part of the Capital Injection committee review with PwC and the Reserves review board working on the Financial Condition Report solvency requirements with the new Consulting Actuary. 

Lead the Actuarial team on revamping data processes across functional lines and integration with the ERP systems. Created policies and procedures for Actuarial work functions within the functional lines and with the Consulting Actuary.

Actuarial Group Lead

Single handedly initiated in house Actuarial valuations of the Mega leasing fleets of Saudi Arabia (ALJ Toyota) (ANB Bank Motor Leasing) ( AlYusr Leasing) and the Motor portfolio and worked on coordinating all Reserving and Motor pricing related exercises   with the Consulting Actuary. As the only Actuarial person in house, reported directly to top management on results and data related matters.

Was the Lead of the Business Intelligence committee and also worked directly with the IT and an external data partner on a Motor end to end BI project.

Passed the Insurance Foundation Certificate Exam (IFCE) on November 06, 2014 Grade: 91 out of 100.

Actuscope Consulting SA

Full-time: Responsibilities included assisting in reserving and pricing for clients and coordinating Actuscope activities in Saudi Arabia, a partner company of Nitaq for Actuarial Services.

Techniques learned: Reserving for IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported), Reporting according to Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOP), Analyzing and Sorting out large insurance data.
