As a member of the executive team, developed and implemented strategies for transformative corporate growth of thermoplastic products.

•	Established strategic direction and developed key client relationships for competitive, data-driven, and industry specific insights and technical solutions which resulted in an 18% sales increase with a 12% increase in PTFE production.
•	Developed novel ideas for integrating sensors into PTFE, which led to State of Connecticut funding and the creation of an applied research project with the University of Connecticut for potential groundbreaking patented application with a significant projected ROI > 300%.
•	Directed the implementation of Epicor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for the company’s US and Canadian plants, while leading the creation and execution of inventory management, configuration management, and costing systems.

As a member of the executive team, managed a direct staff of 14 personnel with P&L responsibility in executing $100M+ annual revenue for a portfolio of US DoD, commercial, and international contracts for inertial navigation systems. 
•	Member of senior leadership that strategically increased the organic business value of a $155M private equity investment into a business that was sold for $375M to Goodrich Corp. by leveraging Program Management (PM) methods to drive strong financial performance.  Increased annual revenue by 15%.  
•	Reduced production and program cost by 50% using strict cost management and continuous process improvements.  Completed strategic closure of two low margin product lines.
•	Created a balanced framework to transform the Program Management Office to a strategic role for improved alignment with company goals, customer-centric focus, business development, and PM methods. 
•	Promoted to lead Contracts Department (2010) in turnaround and development of interventions to improve performance and client interface, implement driver metrics, identify best practices, and define roles and responsibilities to create a cohesive and collaborative team.

Kaman Aerospace Corporation

Held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, program management, and business development for Kaman Aerospace Corporation (Helicopter Division). 

Manager, New Business/Developmental Programs
Oversaw new engineering business and management of helicopter technology developmental programs as part of U.S. Government, DoD, industry and academia (Vertical Lift Consortium).  Established and aligned strategy between U.S. Defense technology areas and company projects for product development opportunities.  

Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Manager of Program Development and Senior Project Engineer 
•	Responsible for P&L for critical composite and metallic aerostructures for the US DoD Presidential helicopter.   Managed scope changes with discipline and budget oversight leading to increased contract value of 40%.  
•	System Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) Team Leader of 25 engineers for a Royal Australian Navy multi-mission naval helicopter.  Led through program development phase, managing a global team including several contractors and a $20M budget.  Developed system safety reports, including software safety.
•	Major contributor for strategy including capture planning, proposal development and management for manned and unmanned helicopters for U.S. DoD and international customers.  Participated in executive-level decision making and formulated strategies for the CEO resulting in competitive wins of >$50M.
•	Active participation in NATO Industry Support Groups to develop requirements for VTOL UAV’s.  Developed key business relationships for teaming and was the lead presenter at NATO for a ship-based UAV system.
•	Authored and presented technical papers at international conferences on helicopter and UAV technology.

Performed design, analysis, and provided technical manufacturing and construction support for various systems aboard U.S. Navy nuclear submarines.  Coordinated dockside and at-sea testing including submarine sea trials as the Mechanical Engineering representative on Trident Class submarines.
