- Developer for React-Native mobile application (AI-based trading assistant tool for stock traders and investors).
- Created interactive stock charts page React components (Victory-Native for charts, Axios to fetch stock data, and Redux to store stock price data in client).
- Maintained AWS EC2 instances for the Express application servers, and implemented user verification and authentication system using JWT and Bcrypt.

- Developed and maintained backend Express program for automating Stripe API refunds using cron jobs. Used fake timers to write Jest tests to verify success of automation.
- Expanded existing PostgreSQL DB and Express API to handle new client-side interactions.

Plenty is building a global network of field-scale indoor farms to transform produce from a bland commodity to a delicious movement.

- Building Anylogic (Java) simulation models of automated manufacturing systems.  
- Establishing an interdepartmental Process and Material flow system of Plenty’s operations through data collection and visualization. Designing optimized work schedules through MATLAB. 
- Coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to propose new equipment and procedures to optimize warehouse processes.

Systems Design Engineering Intern

University of California, Berkeley

- Researching and designing new thermistor sensors for measuring flow rate of sap in plants.  
- Working alongside circuit board manufacturer to assemble prototype sensors and validate its usability through lab tests.

Graduate Student Researcher

- Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) for Engineering 7: Computer Programming for Scientists and Engineers (MATLAB)
- Lecturing introductory to advanced MATLAB programming concepts to 60+ undergraduate students.

Graduate Student Instructor

San Francisco Public Utilities Commission

- Managed construction of 6 cistern field sites in Daly City. Wrote daily reports tracking contractors’ work progress which resident engineer later used to evaluate contractor submitted documentations. Kept track of all equipment and material (including concrete pours) entering/leaving site. Conducted punch list process with contractor at the end of each cistern build. 
- Worked with city inspector to inspect rebar and concrete slabs, columns, and walls in the cisterns to make sure they matched the contractor’s site drawings. 
- Relayed change order information between contractor and resident engineer and made sure the cost of additional work in the field matched the work completed. 
- For the Peninsula Pipeline Seismic Upgrade project ($42 million), I completed submittal checklists and traveled to sites around Lake Merced to inspect for any obstructions in the way of future construction.

Construction Management Intern

- Installing strain gauges on high-strength reinforced bars that will be placed in concrete beams. 
- Assisting graduate students in their research to investigate the performance of specific steel specimen that could lead to an advancement in the steel used in seismically active areas around the nation.
- Coordinating the filming and producing of a documentary of the research progress.

Undergraduate Student Researcher

Hi! I'm a Software Engineer who used to be a HVAC engineer, who before that worked as a systems engineer at a indoor vertical farming startup, who before that got a grad degree in civil engineering. Oh I also entered college as Pre-Med.

Nowadays I'm part of a team building a healthcare risk adjustment platform, and as of early 2023, am trying learn blender and three.js for some personal projects.
