Faiz as he is fondly called, is an intergalactic dreamer and a serial entrepreneur. He's an accomplished logistics & transport professional, he is a Chartered Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Council Member of the Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarder, and Acting President of Persatuan Pengusaha Logistik Bumiputera. Faiz is also a committee member at International Malaysian Society of Maritime Law IMSML. Faiz earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Honours) with a major in Transport from UiTM, followed by an Executive Post Grad-Diploma in Port and Logistics Management from the University of Cambridge. In December 2016, Faiz founded Sufi Group of companies, one of the few Bumiputera International Freight Forwarders in Malaysia. He co-founded Global Freight Network in 2021 with more than 30 country members all over the world. His core business is logistics, supply chain and transport, business and logistics advisory and refurbished containers trading business. He is also offering lifestyle yacht services from Royal Selangor Yacht Club, Port Klang. When he's not leading businesses or advocating for his industry, Faiz is a devoted husband and Dad who enjoys music from bands like Coldplay, Matchbox 20, Queen, and Ramones. He's a makeshift prop for SMSS Old Boys Rugby Club, an avid foodie, editorial board at his very own Think Works Newsletter, self-acclaimed movie critic, nature lover, and occasional contributor to Tigers Super Sports eMagazines. Though he hasn't been running and hiking as much as he'd like lately, Faiz believes the world is his oyster and enjoys tackling whatever comes his way, including his beloved Manchester United's somewhat mediocre performance these last decade or so.
