ok so I've been noodling around with the concept of technical branding (thank you Jamie Indigo and Marc Sirkin for letting me talk your ear off). 

Technical branding is the stuff branding departments don't know they really care about because they don't sit around thinking about phishing attempts on hallucinated URLs like cybersecurity folks do (hi Florian Schmitt, CISSP thanks for putting up with my poisoned MCP rants among other things). 

There's work to be done in technical branding. There's money to be made and there are brands to be saved. Not all heroes wear capes. Some have no pants on but do come with a crawler and good intentions.

It's October! Time for my Halloween posts. First up, some accessibility advice that you will crack up at:

When it comes to Halloween ALT text, don't just describe the costume, capture the vibe! You want to include people in the fun, don't describe the costume, explain why it's cool, why it's memorable. 

If you're going to say: "mummy costume on a child", that's not as funny as, "Remember that one time your mom rolled you in TP and called it a day? This kids' mummy costume gets it right" That's the vibe you need.

You could also go with "This pro-level kids' mummy costume ditches toilet paper and DIY chaos for real bandage style. The Halloween legend is reborn"

Doesn't matter what you do with it so long as the context is clear and everyone has fun. You can use LLMs for this but use them wisely.
