•	Restructured and managed the London finance team (7) and oversaw New York operations (6), including AP, Billings, Credit Control, GL  
•	Implemented best practice and ongoing management of all activities in the Group Finance function including month end reporting, AR, AP, treasury etc. 
•	Managed annual budget and monthly forecast process
•	Managed year-end statutory audit
•	Ensured all tax deadlines were adhered to, including Income and VAT
•	Managed external stakeholders including Bank, Auditors, and Tax  

Key Accomplishments:
•	Successfully restructured the London finance team
•	Reduced month end submission from 25 WD to 10 WD within 3 months
•	Reduced annual audit from 9 months to 3 months within 1st year
•	Obtained factoring facility increase by 0.5m to assist with Group cash flow
•	Reduction of 90+ debtor days from 14% down to 5%

Group Accounting Manager

Lebara Mobile

•	Managed the UK finance team (5)
•	Controlled the day to day financial operations of the UK entity including management accounts, billing, accounts payable, cash flow, tax compliance and internal controls
•	Calculation of complex monthly revenue
•	Finance point person for the launch of any new Digital offering in the UK
•	Liaised with both internal and external auditors for ongoing process/controls environment and year-end audit completion
•	Preparation of statutory IFRS financial statements for UK legal entity

Key Accomplishments:
•	Restructured UK Finance team from shared service model to UK focussed structure
•	Launched ‘Lebara PLAY’  a migrant content streaming service in the UK via set top box, multiple device apps & online
•	Nominated for the ‘Lebara Talent Program’  a program with the aim of supporting & developing a small group of employees the company considered “high potential”

Financial Controller UK

•	Preparation of monthly management reports for UK Mobile, including analysis of actual vs. budget variances 
•	Prepared financial management reports for key stakeholders, identifying areas to be addressed
•	Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
•	Maintenance of fixed & intangible assets register & reporting process
Key Accomplishments:
•	Implemented accounting mechanisms for the new payment service provider across all 7 operating countries
•	Restructured fixed asset documentation & reporting for the Shared Service centre including closing 2012 audit queries

Novetec Building Products Pty Ltd

Novetec is one of Australia's leading manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and designers of quality kitchen, bathroom and laundry ware. As Management Accountant for the company Maire's responsibilities included the following:

• Supervision of three staff members
• Management of the company's general ledgers 
• Analysis of the company's financial performance and preparation of long term forecasts

Màire is a qualified CPA with fifteen years’ experience across Loyalty Programmes, FinTech, Fashion, Telecommunications & Construction. Having played the role of Finance Consultant, Financial Controller and Management Accountant at Group Level on numerous occasions, she is adept to managing a team, implementing improvements and C-Level Stakeholder Management.  

Màire has carried out a number of challenging roles:
 •	Set-up of the Finance department for Virgin Red including the implementation of Oracle NetSuite
•	Finance Lead for Partner Onboarding and Data Migration project at Virgin Red
•	Supported the Finance Director at WorldRemit on various projects including streamlining month end processes and automating bank reconciliations
•	At Spring Studios, restructured the UK Finance Team and implemented best practice finance processes across UK and New York offices
•	Transitioned the Lebara Mobile UK Finance team from a shared service model to a UK focussed structure
•	Assisted in the restructure and eventual sale of Novetec Building Products
