Then a few years back, at GitLab, I lead People Operations, People Experience, People Engineering and International Expansion and helped scale GitLab from 75 to 1300 employees. Extremely proud that GitLab has since become a successful public trading company. 🎧 Social connection and emotional connection in remote first companies are super important and often not intentional enough, part of my previous job at Remote, is to ensure we continuously evolve our bonding time and creating initiatives for social connection that leads to highly engaged employees that can show up at work as their full selves. This also directly impacts inclusion: understanding different cultures and learning more about all the wonderful people you work with from all over the world. 🚵🏼‍♀️ When I'm not working, I'm hiking with the fam, trying out new plant based recipes, doing Pilates, chasing Frenchies around the garden, running or taking my Scott Spark 910 29'er for a spin! I’m slowly gaining an obsession with gravel bikes.
