I´m Nakalembe Zamzam, director of God´s Support Orphanage in Uganda.We are recognized as a nonprofit charity by our local government.In Uganda the government´s efforts to provide a home and health care for orphans are insufficient.I lead a team of five people who are doing our best to help homeless children who have lost their parents. We have a rented house and we try to keep them well fed, healthy and give them an education. The children eat mostly rice and beans and we would like to rent a plot of land to have a vegetable garden, raise chickens and a few goats to provide fresh vegetables, eggs, meat, milk and cheese.Medical care is often expensive, and we cannot afford advanced treatments such as surgery for little David.I am an orphan and that is why I help these children.
