I have ~7 years of extensive experience in technology at Intel Corporation and have been formally recognized for success in many areas of finance, especially in FP&A, P&L, and Strategy. I thrive in fast paced, innovative organizations, especially with tight deadlines. I love to turn abstract sets of numbers into compelling stories about the business. When I first started at Intel, I was working with Engineering to drive quicker product execution, to identify cash savings opportunities wherever relevant, and to influence teams to adopt best-in-class methodologies after benchmarking against external competitors. I then managed the Profit & Loss (Income) statement and Revenue for the Intel WiFi business and drove that team towards profitability. Specifically, I helped develop a strategy to grow volume, reduce cost, and improve our mix towards higher margin sales. I now support Strategic Product Planning for future products we are developing. I ensure that the numbers make sense - that our investment is the right size to deliver a product on schedule, at the right cost, and with the right features to be competitive in the marketplace when it launches. I perform NPV analysis and model various scenarios to help Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams understand the implications of changes they want to make to the product. I build the bottoms up forecasts for these products, and I help identify cost reduction opportunities to deliver the highest ROI. When not in the office, you can usually find me travelling the world, cheering at a Longhorns game, rock climbing, or enjoying the great outdoors with my dog, Scooby.
