The Digital Excellence Club The DEC was initiated to make executives and freelancers in agile, digital product development more successful. It is a project initiated by Burkhard Süssenguth and Klaus Meisel in April 2021. Burkhard is a product expert and worked for many years as a freelance Product Owner and Agile Consultant. Klaus is a highly experienced HR consultant in the agile digital product development environment. They have contributed their experience with / as HR consultant(s), supplemented this with interviews with executives in companies and freelance experts, and developed an approach that optimizes the project-related work with freelancers, compared to the approach of classic providers and delivers significantly better results. The goal of the DEC is to bring together self-employed experts with executives in companies. What challenges were identified during the analysis? - Lack of professional understanding on the part of the staffing service providers - Intransparent and unfair pricing of the staffing service providers - Freelancers not delivering the results the client wants. - Lack of decisiveness on the company side and resulting feedback loops that are too long. How does the DEC solve these challenges? - Burkhard conducts the interviews with the candidates because on the one hand he understands the technical requirements and on the other hand he is able to sell the project to the consultants so well and inspire them that they decide for our partner company and against the competition. - Pricing is completely transparent for all parties and with a 15% margin for Quantum, very fair compared to the market competitors. - Only experts who have proven themselves in direct cooperation or have been recommended by direct contacts and fulfill the quality criterias are admitted to the exclusive circle of freelance consultants. - Companies adhere to specified feedback times: max. 3 working days after profile presentation, max. 2 working days after candidate interviews.
