KMW Outreach is a training partner of the Canadian Red Cross, providing first aid training and supplies to South Western Ontario. YW boutique is a social enterprise and employment/entrepreneurial training program for women. It is a  bricks and clicks store selling new and used fashion accessories gives women experiencing barriers to financial stability the opportunity to gain employment skills and develop their own business.

In this role, I provided high-quality seminars related to financial management course content and material to a group of third-year students. I loved this role as a leadership position and being able to guide students toward success. This role has also shown me how much I love facilitating and organizing in order to meet an objective. It also helped me gain proficiency in MS Teams. Lastly, I loved the mix of creativity and structure in this position.

Assisting with teaching this course led me to have an increased interest in the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility. Teaching this course has interested me in gaining a further understanding of corporate social responsibility through a post-grad program or research.

Upon being promoted to a supervisor position, I was able to exercise leadership skills as well as apply the skills/knowledge derived from my business management major. I enjoyed this position as I enjoy being a leader, assisting others in as attentive of a way as I can, and making a meaningful change. This position let me know that I had the necessary communication, training, and organizational skills to be in a supervisor position, and is aligned with my interests in taking on a managerial role in the future.
