I love to write - mostly because I like to ask questions and solve problems. Tunneling into the why behind the ask is exciting! ✴️ What does the customer/reader really need to know? ✴️ Why are they looking for this solution now? ✴️ Does the content serve them? ✴️ What else do they need to have a complete answer? ✴️ What questions does the first one set off in the series of dominoes? ✴️ Why did they leave the site? Can I identify the reason? ✴️ Can I tweak 3 things to drive more clicks to a product placement or affiliate link? Having the opportunity to work across industries, roles and with both corporations and startups has helped me to develop a global view. It's also allowed me to draw connections and correlations across topics. Some of my best skills are: ✴️ SEO and Content Development with an emphasis on creative options and articles ✴️ Technical SEO - Seeing a sites performance and SERP improve after solving seemingly "small" things is rewarding. ✴️ Sales writing - writing to both B2C audiences with affiliate travel site sales goals and to B2B sales prospects has sharpened my sales storytelling ✴️ Account management & Project Management - I love details and pride myself on anticipating things before they come up. ✴️ Influencer campaigns and management - from creating a content direction to selecting influencers and handling budget and negotiations I've done it all. I follow the campaign through to deliverables being promoted and reporting on results. ✴️ Promoting and repurposing content. From video to written to podcasts I can map content, find gaps that podcast questions could fill, and promote the resulting content to your audience. ✴️ Working to identify ICPs and consulting on strategies you're using to reach customers from both a sales and content perspective. ✴️ Out of the box thinking and creativity ✴️Love spreadsheets & analytics- it's an obsession. If I'm being honest I've been working on these skills: ✴️ I'm a chronic multitasker. Things get done but my brain does its best work when I can take a "break" by different tasks in chunks as inspiration hits. ✴️ As a problem solver who wants to help I sometimes have to stifle the enthusiasm to jump in and brainstorm. I've gotten better over the years at staying on track and knowing when someone wants that type of assistance. ✴️ Spatial models are not my thing. If you need me to fit 40 blocks of different shapes together into a 3D cube we're both going to leave frustrated. I LOVE chatting with people and meeting new connections.
