Marketing and Communications Coordinator 

- Responsible for the management of all social media platforms for a variety of clients and small 
   businesses including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linked In. 
- Plan, create and execute all content for social media platforms including lives, reels, and static posts.
- Create all social media graphics according to the client's brand/style guide.

Social Media Manager

University of Guelph

• Responsible for the management of all central social media platforms for the University of Guelph (UofG) including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linked In.
• Grew the U of G Instagram account from 15k to 40k over three years
• Collaborate with on-campus partners and student groups to produce engaging content with the purpose of promoting University of Guelph events, services and programs.
• Organize, create and execute all content for social media platforms including interviews and event coverage. For example, Convocation.
• Engage with the U of G community over social media platforms by answering questions and concerns, promoting services and sharing important information. 
• Assist with the management of crisis communications on social media in response to current events including the Black Lives Matter movement and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
• Monitored, responded and reported on various social media activities relating to the U of G or the U of G community. 
• Create analytic reports for campaigns, content performance, and community engagement using data from social media platforms.

Social Media Coordinator, Community Engagement 

•	Responsible for the management of all central social media platforms for the University of Guelph (UofG) including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linked In. 
•	Assisted the Social Media Manager in growing the UofG Instagram account following from 15k to 30k
•	Collaborate with on-campus partners and student groups to produce engaging content with the purpose of promoting University of Guelph events, services and programs. 
•	Organize, create and execute all content for social media platforms including interviews and event coverage. For example, Convocation. 
•	Manage communications in response to current events including the Black Lives Matter movement and the COVID-19 Pandemic 
•	Engage with UofG community over social media platforms by answering questions and concerns, promoting services and sharing important information
•	Work with other campus departments to organize and run large scale events such as Guelph Grad on Tour, Orientation Week, large scale sports games and speaking events such as Bill Nye and Miss J. Alexander. 
•	Represent the University of Guelph at various events with Provincial and Federal government officials in attendance including a variety of funding announcements and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. 
•	Host Instagram Live information sessions covering a variety of topics such as Move-In day preparation, exam preparation and General Q&A’s
•	Create analytic reports for campaigns using data from social media platforms 
•	Organize and direct internal photoshoots for promotional materials 
•	Organize and direct photo and video shoots for external groups including bands, government officials, and speakers.

Social Media Intern

University of Guelph Central Student Association

•	Successfully campaigned for the role of Vice President Academic at the Central Student Association 
•	Represented the academic rights, responsibilities and interests of 22,000 undergraduate students at the University of Guelph
•	Attended committee meetings, both internal and external, as a representative for undergraduate students
•	Met with University of Guelph Administration on a weekly basis to discuss policies, student concerns and key initiatives 
•	Assisted students in dealing with various confidential academic issues and concerns 
•	Assisted staff and other executives in facilitating events including concerts, art shows, trivia nights, food truck festivals, and carnivals
•	Supervised and assisted the Student Health and Advocacy Center (SHAC) and its staff
•	Researched various student cases concerning tenancy law, and academic misconduct
•	Researched, drafted and advocated for Policy 2.3 - Policy on the Establishment of the Schedule of Dates that was implemented at the University of Guelph in May 2020.
