I had the honor of working in several departments with Ozark Center. I started in pediatrics, where I discovered my passion for caring for children and their families. Later, I transitioned to adult psychiatry and then I eventually took on the exciting challenge of launching a new program for the facility. This enabled us to acquire more physicians from outside the state and offer more care and visits to our patients.

As a Senior Telehealth Trainer, I was tasked with launching a Telemedicine Department and training newly hired staff. This role allowed me to share my technological expertise and help others build their own knowledge and skills. I took great pride in seeing my team grow and succeed under my guidance.

I administered psychotropic medication injections and meticulously analyzed blood labs to prevent prescription-drug toxicity. I also conducted extensive research on physician documentation review for prior authorizations of prescriptions and antipsychotic medications, allowing us to streamline our processes and provide the best possible care for our patients.

With a positive, upbeat personality and a personable approach, I've worked hard to make a difference in the lives of my patients and my colleagues. I'm proud of my accomplishments and look forward to continued success in the healthcare field. 

Living in a small town and working closely with a multitude of physicians was an exciting and rewarding experience. I remember driving over to the hospital for a physician signature to signify a patient's prescription. Being able to reach physicians within 10 minutes of visiting with a patient was incredibly efficient, especially compared to the busy city life I was accustomed to. I took great pleasure in caring for the patients of Joplin, Missouri and working alongside the dedicated healthcare professionals in the area.
