I became a Speaker and Coach because it was the best way for me to combine my career experience with helping people. 

I’m a published author and columnist writing on the topic of Emotional Intelligence for Workplace Success. 

I’ve been featured in  Asia CEO Community magazine, China Economic Review, Financial Times Ignites Asia, RTHK Radio x CUHK EMBA’s “New Ideas in Leadership HK01”, SCMP, MingPao Daily, NowTV.

I consider myself a global citizen who crosses cultural boundaries and speaks to leaders as humans. I have lived, studied and worked in Canada, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and China, and, until COVID hit, I regularly travelled to speak to audiences around the world in my native English, Mandarin and Cantonese-Chinese. I also speak Japanese and Korean.

•	Along with our Beijing team, I worked with retail space property management companies to secure prime retail locations in Beijing for our restaurants, leveraging our strong connections in both property development and government relations. 

•	I brought overseas investors to invest in Beijing IDC Internet Data Centers and Cold Chain Warehousing real estate development projects.

•	Our restaurant portfolio included Japanese sushi, North American style Vietnamese, and Chinese hotpot restaurants.

I founded a Luxury Skincare brand with award winning products, featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, Marie Claire, and Milk Magazine.

Like many women, I played different roles in my life – beauty connoisseur, coach, speaker and trainer. I moved from a career in investment banking to found Evie Beauté to fulfill my mission of inspiring others to live a life with purpose, a life worth living. 

Life for me began in Japan – I went from laid back Vancouver, Canada to the land of sushi and kimonos, where the women always looked perfectly polished and never overdone. While studying in Japan, I remember devouring beauty magazines in Science class. I then spent a year at Korea University – the land of kimchi and K-pop and plastic surgery. It took me a while to understand how (and why) the girls at school were always perfectly coiffed and made up – even during exam time. Experiencing these different cultural values and norms of beauty as I was growing up shaped how I saw the role of beauty in my life.

In 2000, my father had a brush with acute leukaemia, a wake up call for me to start caring for myself; which ultimately led me to create Evie, starting as a loving gift to friends in Christmas of 2005. From there my team and I created the ultimate brand we identify with, the skincare insiders’ beauty secrets and products we would use and recommend to our closest friends - that are just too good to keep to ourselves.

Hello, I’m Natalie.

A Leadership Coach, Global Speaker, Author, and x-Goldman Sachs Executive Director who’s walked through success, failure, and everything in between. In my 10 years in investment banking, I saw how the stress of dealing with career-defining decisions affected even the most seasoned leaders.

I’ve lived and worked across North America and Asia, built a skincare brand from scratch, and helped over 50,000 high-achievers at 100+ global organizations around the world learn how to communicate better so they can become more influential leaders - all while navigating motherhood, divorce, and rebuilding my life (and business) from the ground up.
