Warner Bros. TV Production UK Limited

Owned both short term forecasting and long term strategic planning for the TV production business with circa £100m turnover. Aided CFO and MDs with forming decisions. Partnered with the content production, development, distribution and finance teams to deliver credible projections and drive improvements. Satiated group requirements of US listed parent.

•	Established a flexible FP&A function that successfully facilitated senior management with decision making through scenario/impact planning, KPI analysis and benchmarking, risk adjusted forecasting.
•	Lead commercial and investment appraisal to achieve company objectives: provided commercial advice in respect of broadcaster volume deals, content initiatives, disposal of an $80m revenue foreign subsidiary, potential acquisitions/JV. 
•	Improved company profitability through contributing to double digit reduction in production overspend, delivering on cost saving initiatives and enhancing efficiency of content post production unit.
•	Supported growth of a high margin and growth Digital business unit specializing at production and monetizing short-form content in digital networks. Provided resource allocation advice, developed business plans,  assessed  implications of digital products.
•	Added to maximizing IP revenue streams by identifying revenue opportunities for specific titles and territories and actioning on them along with finished product and format sales teams.
•	Delivered on market reviews aimed at formulating strategy and identifying opportunities and risks including OTT media market, regional spend, drama and presented findings to management team.

Promoted to Divisional FD role where I enhanced productivity of  CEO and local operational teams of a $100m  Pay TV business segment across 20 countries. 

•	Contributed to double digit annual growth of the business unit through development of regional activities in coordination with local operational teams.
•	Positively influenced financial results by supporting strategic investment decisions such as $20m revenue channel launch in Africa. Developed and challenged business plans, project managed and conducted necessary re-calibration of the post launch performance.
•	Improved efficiency of the business structure and optimized processes through IT sytem enhancements - customer relations management, introduction of new KPIs in sales & distribution, review of content investments, etc.
•	Improved company profitability through delivering on cost saving initiatives. 
•	Contributed to continuous improvement of the product offering to subscribers.

Divisional Finance Director Pay TV Emerging Markets

In 2007 I have moved to UK to join MTG. 

In this role I supported CEO in growing DTH platforms and channel distribution businesses across 20+ countries. Supervised all aspects of financial and management reporting. Evaluated financial impact of business decisions and worked closely with local operational teams. Increased performance yield through implementation of an operational KPIs and new analytical tools. Led system and project implementations across functions.

•	Assembled and spearheaded an international team of more than 20 skilled professionals across over 20 countries. 
•	Business partnered CEO and local team to grow a direct to home TV platform in Ukraine from a cost center to 130k subscribers business. Effectively managed JV partner relationships contributing to negotiations for funding and resource allocation.
•	Added to company performance through business case appraisal and launch support for new channels in Europe and direct to home TV platform in Russia. Improved operational efficiency of the new launches through process and KPI reviews.

Implemented management reporting regime and provided insightful analysis to the private owners of 19 entities operating in media, real estate and aviation industries. Delivered first time IFRS adoption throughout 10 entities operating in media.

Having qualified I joined a number one TV broadcaster in Ukraine.

Successfully supervised the finance team of 6 to ensure proper financial, control and reporting activity of a leading local broadcaster – a subsidiary of a $1.8 billion NASDAQ listed group, operating  terrestrial television networks across Central and Eastern Europe. 

In this role I have delivered on Sarbanes-Oxley implementation companywide.
