Performed legal research for the Compliance Department of the Harris County Attorney’s Office on legal issues which arise in the collection of penalties, fines, taxes, judgments, liens and other monies owed to Harris County including animal case forfeitures, expunctions, healthcare benefits. 
Assist in the management of small claims collections cases for Harris County, including making court appearances; drafting petitions, motions and demand letters; and negotiating and drafting payment agreements such has non suits, Rule 11 payment agreements, and orders of disposition. 
Assist in review of contracts between Harris County and other entities, including
provisions for supervising attorneys and researching risks and alternatives.
