Increased English Language Learners’ content knowledge in science gradually throughout school year; students grew from scoring in 30% to 50% range to scoring between 65% to 70% range.  

Contributed to writing three educational grants that were awarded a total of $15,000 dollars to invest in the expansion of the school garden.

Increased student understanding of natural resources and changes to Earth’s surface from 70% to 83% proficiency.  

Used quantitative and qualitative data to draw insights about student learning, which lead to students scoring 78% on the process skills of planning and implementing investigations and using tools to collect data.  

Used canvas learning management system to teach asynchronous and synchronous lessons and craft lessons that are adaptable to students needs via virtual learning.  

Increased student achievement in the area of using Physical Properties of Matter to deduct conclusions about substances using graphs and charts among African-American students from 56% to 78%.

Detected more than 100-cylinder heads with hole drilling defects, jagged edges, or other machining defects that led to a reduction in repair costs, less scrapped engines, and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures to ensure cylinder heads were being machined without any defects.    

Trained over 20 machinists on standard operating procedures, and performed quality checks to ensure machinist were following SOPs, which also led to a reduction in variable costs.  

Performed consistent and routine quality checks on all cylinder heads after machined to identify potential defects, which led to a reduction in repair costs and scrapped engines.

My passion for data analysis stems from my previous experience as an educator, where I witnessed how data can inform and improve performance and outcomes. I apply a structured analytical approach to every data project, using the HDEIP framework to guide my data collection and exploration process. I also communicate effectively with diverse audiences, presenting complex ideas and insights in a clear and compelling way. I am committed to continuous learning and skill development, and to directly contributing to the success of Novozymes OneHealth in the data realm.
