I have over 30 years’ experience in the drinks industry, a plethora of dependable connections within brewing, cider making, wine making, grape growing, spirits production and the entire value chain. 

My passion for real honest flavour and my DNA enable me to deliver value to drinks businesses,  supporting suppliers and distribution channels. 

My industrial experience began at age 8 when working for pocket money. I loved being surrounded by industrial machinery and handmade products. From my early years rolling barrels, picking and preparing raw ingredients to new product development (NPD), my experience is all encompassing.

I completed my WSET certificate qualification at the age of 17 (not sure if this is even legal now.)

At 18 I was the manager of the oldest organic vineyard in the UK, where my passion for real honest flavour was born. I’ll never forget the old saying: - “Good wine is made in the vineyard!” Today this has developed to mean ‘full traceability,’ from field to glass for all drinks businesses. 

At 20 I studied at the UKs premier wine college whilst working full time within premium wine retail. Most working days in the shops were from 10am to 10pm. My studies included grape growing, wine making, purchasing, sales, marketing, analytical disciplines and the drinks industry still remains a passion of mine. 

Now is the time for good honest beverages and businesses. With the need to follow state of the art growing and production methodologies. The final product is not just an ‘alcoholic drink’ but something with real flavour from the “terroir.”

I fill gaps in knowledge within local and international markets. Acting as a guide for the management of drinks related businesses with my expert palette, knowledge and connections. I work with breweries, wineries and other drinks related businesses looking for exposure and problem solving capabilities.
