•	Led a province-wide strategic initiative which reduced complexity, attained cost savings, and simplified the application environment for future strategic projects.
•	Utilized the Gartner TIME model to classify applications and identify potential targets.  
•	Attained $7 million in cost savings by retiring 15% of the application portfolio (320 applications) and underlying infrastructure, as well as repositioning IT support staff.
•	Developed an application decommissioning framework to assist the IT Service Owners, and ensure infrastructure and applications are properly retired.
•	Implemented a project portfolio management solution (Clarity CA PPM) and increased maturity in project delivery, resource management, and APM disciplines.

•	Implemented an application performance monitoring solution (Compuware) and a framework which governs performance guidelines and metrics.
•	Introduced application support best practices utilizing ITIL and ASL frameworks.
•	Worked with various Microsoft database, infrastructure, and virtualization platform technologies (VMware) to complete projects.  
•	Managed a team which maintains and supports enterprise level applications utilizing technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS), Windows Server, SharePoint, Oracle, UNIX, .NET, and Java applications.
