I'm a strong business leader and repeat entrepreneur with experience in startup formation, product vision and strategy, customer empathy, building out product teams, and roadmap planning and execution. I have 10+ years of experience in building AI products (0->1) across a wide span of verticals: national security, brand management, public affairs, ad tech, journalism, finance, e-commerce and crisis management. In the past 8 years, I've applied machine learning to solve real business problems at B2B and B2C companies. At the Washington Post, I launched their first personalized ad tech platform as well as their article recommendation module. At Comcast, I spearheaded their TV and movie recommendation platform. At Primer.AI, I led the machine learning strategy in their flagship product —analyzing news and social media. And at Blackbird.AI, I led the product organization to detect narratives and threats across social media. I am currently working for myself at Flypower.
