I am a problem-solver, teacher, and builder at heart. Delivering impact is my North Star. My personal "why" is to engage with, and stay abreast of, how the world is changing, so I can help people adapt gradually versus get disrupted suddenly. I do this by being humble, curious, inclusive, and collaborative, while solving real world problems faced by organizations, society, and the planet. I am currently an Innovation Leader in the Strategy and Evolution organization at Black & Veatch, a US-based EPC company that is at the leading edge of the Sustainable Infrastructure and Energy Transition. We are actively seeking and advancing transformative innovation in climate tech, housing, food/agriculture, artificial intelligence / machine learning, biotech, energy, advanced transportation, robotics, and health. After working as a materials and process engineer at Cessna Aircraft post-PhD, I earned an MBA and broadened myself as an R&D and Supply Chain consultant with The Corporate Executive Board, working across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Then I returned to industry as an Open Innovation practitioner and people leader at The Clorox Company - working across its various businesses in consumer retail, B2B and eCom. Before starting my current role at Black & Veatch, I worked for startups in the areas of ecosystemic transformation (Shoshin Works), innovation talent (Swarm Vision), and AI/ML and Robotics (Kebotix).
