A previous manager once described me as 'the glue'. She could always count on me to find the gaps and fill them - in communications, processes, task lists, or project plans. This astutely sums up the most prominent thing I can offer from my experience in a swath of various fields. I excel in adding structure to the ambiguous, finding gaps and efficiency opportunities, manifesting inertia and motivation within a project, and delving into the nitty gritty to get things done. I'm eager to work hard, learn new skills, and apply them on the daily. With 8 jam-packed months working at a tech startup and two 6-year long careers in two very different fields (civil engineering and event planning), I've gathered a wide variety of knowledge and experiences that have allowed me to become a well-rounded professional. This background shines while working on projects that use both sides of my brain, that allow my creativity and cheerful spirit to shine while my proclivity for efficiency and organization are exhibited to their fullest extent. I love spreadsheets, research, design, and finding new programs, apps, and technology to continue making my workflow as efficient as possible. It is easy for me to notice weaknesses or problems in a current system and, more importantly, I find a lot of satisfaction in puzzling over, deciding upon, and implementing new practices within that system that address those weaknesses.
