Starting Papers & Pens wasn’t about creating another marketing agency. It was about building a space where strategy and storytelling meet, where global perspective and local insight fuel real growth.

Over the years, I’ve worked with founders and teams across Asia and beyond. What I’ve learned is simple: the best strategies don’t come from rushing to answers, but from asking better questions, listening deeply, and staying open to surprise.

That’s how I work. Curiosity first. Always.

Entrepreneurship taught me many things.
But mostly, how to befriend loneliness.

Years of working with startups of all sizes — I realized the feeling is always the same, just shaped differently: the quiet pressure, the constant decisions, the silent in-betweens no one sees.

Now, with my own company helping other startups grow, loneliness has become both my teacher and my companion.
It reminds me that clarity matters more than noise, and independence doesn’t mean isolation.

Over time, I’ve learned to be less lonely in my decision-making, more patient with others, and more grounded in my goals.

Because loneliness, when you listen to it closely enough, isn’t emptiness — it’s focus.
And once you’ve made peace with it, you can help others do the same.

Today, on Vietnamese Entrepreneur’s Day (13/10), I’m thinking of all the founders walking this path — sometimes quietly, always courageously.
