Young Experts: Tech 4 Health

Transform Health, together with its partners Joep Lange Institute and PATH/Digital Square , will be leading the development of a conceptual framework to define the rationale, relevance, scope, and approach for a complete investment case for the acceleration of inclusive and responsible digital transformation of health systems in countries with lower and middle income (LMICs).
The conceptual framework will provide an evidence-based approach to prioritize investment areas and define the global level of investment necessary to support the financing of digital health transformation and innovations in LMICs. This will provide the conditions and add to the confidence of donors and investors, as well as national governments, to increase their funding levels and priorities on these issues and to make informed decisions on overall funding strategies to accelerate the digital transformation of health systems to achieve UHC by 2030.
In addition to the youth-led research, regional research will also be carried out in: 1) West and Central Africa; 2) Eastern and Southern Africa; 3) Asia-Pacific; 4) Latin America; and 5) Middle East- and Northern Africa. To connect the different research workstreams, Transform Health will convene a Global Research Consortium with experts from different regions, young experts and international partners.
