Being responsible for establishment and management of IT Quality Management process (COBIT v4.1 PO8 process in relevant)

Designing quality management system of IT and implementing methods for continuous workflow and process improvement via cross-functional improvement projects.

As an enabler for continuous improvement, mentoring, coaching and supporting teams to drive and foster an improvement culture.

Responsible for the direction, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of Continuous Improvement Projects for the portfolio of SDLC, project, portfolio, IT Enterprise Architecture management processes in particular.

Being responsible for establishment and management of IT Performance Monitoring and Evaluation process (COBIT v4.1 ME1 process in relevant)

Defining process performance metrics with process owners to provide a succinct and all-around view of IT performance. 

Defining metrics and scorecards with IT executive managers in order to be used in employee performance evaluation system

Periodically review performance against targets, analyze the cause of any deviations and initiating remedial actions upon deviations to address the underlying causes

Collating and translating process performance reports into management reports.

Developing senior management and C-level reports and dashboards of IT performance on Datazen application

Primary person in defining requirements and testing of KOKPIT application (a performance management process software). Being the owner of this software in production (pioneer in Turkey)

Performing activities in all aspects of the process, technology and people of Software Development Department to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and performance, such as:

Developing reports and dashboards including data of information systems tools (PPM, CA Service Desk, etc.) via Qlikview in order to provide management a platform to explore data of their interest.

Managing the project of developing MS Power View software application that consolidates isolated information systems'​  data (including PPM, CA Service Desk, etc.) to enable IT and business users data-driven decision-making platform. Being the owner of this software in production.  (cited as a Success Story by MS Turkey)

Implementation of best practices for IT Service Management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes based on ITIL and COBIT and improving those processes based on the analysis. Participated in re-designing and re-modelling of SDLC processes along with their process control practices. 

Improving end user practices of platforms for communicating knowledge (such as wiki, file system, MS Outlook) for and across the people of the department.

Developing a platform to analyze personnel efficiency and skill set data ranging from work activities, off-office hour connections, overtime work etc. Defining and managing part-time and intern students' projects.

Software Efficiency Specialist

I have first-hand professional experience in business agility, agile mindset, Agile Software Development, and scaling Agile, IT quality, process, and performance management. Among the frameworks, I am closely working with ITIL, COBIT, Scrum, and Kanban, among others. I am passionate about contributing to the body of knowledge by sharing through public speaking, organizing events, as a lecturer at universities, mentor and reviewer for international journals and conferences, and with academic publications. I am working toward my Ph.D. degree at Gebze Technical University. My research interests include agile mindset and agility.
