2:13 AM. My phone lit up.

From Pink Slip to First Step

A True Founder Story

I once mentored a founder, let’s call him Chris 

Chris called me two days after getting laid off. 

“Neema,” he said, “I gave everything to that company. I built systems, trained teams, flew cross-country every other week. And they canned me with a 3-minute Zoom call.”

That's 40+ hours a week. 52 weeks in a year. Do the math.
