Neeta Lachmandas-Sakellariou has been at the forefront for over 25 years helping businesses in fostering remarkable customer experiences, service transformation strategies and elevating service standards. She is the author of the book, ‘Stay Relevant to Stay Profitable’ published by World Scientific, aimed at helping practitioners navigate the complex issue of service and digital transformation. Her expertise spans the domains of customer satisfaction, leadership and culture, and capability development. Neeta is the founder of ConsciousService, a consulting and training company aimed at building the tools towards CX and service excellence in organisations. Neeta speaks regularly on the topics of customer experience satisfaction, transformational leadership, service excellence, and what businesses must do to stay relevant in times of intense volatility and change. She also facilitates workshops on building the mindsets, well-being and culture needed for maximum performance in today's changing organisations. Neeta was the Executive Director at the Institute of Service Excellence, SMU. Neeta spearheaded the Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore, one of Singapore’s largest consumer research projects where companies in sectors such as tourism, finance, retail, F&B, telco, healthcare, and transport were measured. Neeta led the development of the SME Consumer Analytics Platform together with Spring Singapore. This was a Software as a Service, Customer Satisfaction and Consumer Insights Dashboard for SMEs. Neeta also focused on the professionalising of service-based careers through the development of a suite of 18 training programmes, certifications, and diplomas. Neeta was also the Assistant Chief Executive, at the Singapore Tourism Board. At STB, Neeta headed efforts in building service excellence and productivity in the tourism industry, tourism labour and capabilities development, strengthening Singapore’s position as a premier business and meetings (MICE) destination; medical tourism and private education, and growing the cruise industry. Neeta graduated with a degree in law from the National University of Singapore. She did the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. Neeta is also certified in design thinking facilitation, DISC conflict resolution and the foundations of neuro-based leadership. Neeta has served on several advisory boards. This includes the Client Advisory Council for Marina Bay Sands, Nanyang Polytechnic School of Business Advisory Board, Republic Polytechnic School of Hospitality Advisory Board and Shatec Board Director.
