1 thing I learned from previous workplace is how not to be pushed over by a room filled with men. Hey, it’s nothing gender bias here but just an anecdote of what women persevere at work. 💣 Constant need of proving oneself. 💣 8-10 hours of vigilance by peers. 💣 Fear of every decision being scrutinized. 💣 Often hearing, ‘she’s been favored by so and so' and not her hardwork. 💣 Personal attacks by insecure men & women! All this & more .. No matter what, I still aced my job by being the Top Performer and raking in the most revenue! ☺️
4 years, I have worked in an industry where selling was often disguised as scamming. Sales employees are taught to sell whatever they can to spike their targets and achieve growth. Hence, most employees lacked in building authentic relationships, customer engagement and a brand that could last.
