Project Planner for Asset Inspect my role includes coordinating staff & processes to ensure our projects are delivered on time. Lead progress meetings with the client and give progress updates weekly. knowledge of asset management

Assist to the running of the Railway division and should be flexible with their daily work load and be willing to tackle problems as they arise.

Responsibilities
Support the Head of Asset Inspect and Examination Manager in their day-to-day duties including but not limited to:

•	Data entry and data manipulation
•	Assist in planning and monitoring of site works / examinations.
•	Be the first contact for contractors and staff.
•	Liaise with clients to discuss requirements. 
•	Planning and implementation of enabling works, de-vegetation, road closures and possessions.
•	Collaborating with local authorities and small businesses to arrange accesses, factoring this in to the plan of works.
•	Monitoring contractor’s times on and off site.
•	Be part of the lone working system, monitoring the welfare of lone working staff whilst on site.
•	Snagging technical reports as they are drafted.
•	Preparation of reports and programmes.
•	Manage costs within the agreed budgets.
•	Initial workload takes place in and around London, with other parts of the UK to follow – an occasional on-site presence.
•	Maintaining the department’s QM system updating policies and forms, as necessary.
•	Monitor staff / contractor’s competencies and arranging training / refresher courses.
•	Work closely with RIMINI planners and COSS’s to ensure safety critical paperwork is correct and available on time.
•	Preparation of work package plans and task briefing sheets.

Providing support to Surveyors, inputting key details into Keystone application and liaising with external contractors.

My responsibilities vary from entering new and  completed engineering maintenance work orders to creating identified maintenance plans into the Ellipse database.

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential to the success of my current role to ensure the productivity and performance targets are met for the Delivery Unit's Business Objectives, including Data Quality reporting and all KPI are met.

Effective communication via email and telephone between various team members, ranging from Work planners, Line Management and up to Senior Engineers are essential in providing up to date asset data for cyclical scheduled maintenance as well emergency works.

I hold SSOWP Level 2 and PTS. 

I look after all training related issues, also managing attendance and weekly rostering of hours into the system and dealing with all annual leave requests.

I also carry out many general office duties including ordering stock, PPE and general equipment of the office. I have been able to demonstrate time management skills, and gained a wealth of experience not only in an office environment but I have taken a keen interest in the Railway Infrastructure.

Whilst working on this project I was working on the mechanical data. I had to analyse the data and put it into the correct format. I had to arrange for the data to be collect through a third party contractors to attend site and collect the information to the standard we required. Once the information was received from the third party we inputted the data in preparation for the project to be signed off by management. I had to work to deadlines and on my own at times. There were various meetings to attend and I had to be of a very strong character to get the information we needed in a timely fashion.

Working with MIMS (Ellipse) data on a daily basis. Entering data into the MIMS programme to an accurate standard. I have to keep regular contact with the Scheduler and Section Managers. I have to work on my own and under pressure at times to meet the deadlines set. I have to located any problems with the ellipse data and forward them to the ADM team for the assets to be corrected. My other duties include general office duties filing, faxing, telephone enquires, attending meetings. I was the most experienced Works Data Clerk so I had to cover different areas when needed as I am multi function and can work with the PWAY, S&T, OHL, and OFF TRACK.

I had to gain knowledge on the products arrange Credit checks, stock control, cashiering, and also any telephone enquiries that we received. I gained top sales in my store nearly every week and I was in the top 10 sales person for over a year for selling the most extended warranties throughout the UK for the company.
