Summit Oxygen is a UK company specialising in the design, development and manufacture of supplementary oxygen systems for use at high altitude. Summit Oxygen is the dominant supplier of supplementary oxygen systems used on Mount Everest and the greater Himalayan region. We also have an operation in Tanzania offering climbers a personal oxygen system to assist them to get to the summit of Kilimanjaro and also emergency oxygen systems as group safety equipment. Summit Oxygen developed the High Altitude Supplementary Oxygen System (HASOS) which is now a mandated piece of equipment for the US Air Force Pararescue Squadrons. More recently we completed a contract for the MoD to deliver a carry-on portable supplementary oxygen system for the UK Chinook helicopter fleet.
