In 2017, following the successful take-private of Cvent, Neil helped establish the Value Creation Team that was tasked with serving as a strategic partner between Vista investment professionals, Board members and company management teams. 

The team scaled to 30+ operating advisors that coordinated hundreds of projects resulting in significant enterprise value creation for VEP investments.

As a member of the executive leadership team, Neil led the company through the pre-merger and closing phases of taking Cvent private in 2016 for $1.65B. As a part of the transaction, Cvent acquired Lanyon where Neil had served as VP of Strategic Programs under the CEO.

Cvent had a second public offering in 2021, and again became a private company in 2023 through a $4.6B deal with Blackstone.

Prior to the Cvent deal, Neil led Strategic Programs for Lanyon which included driving profitable growth through key initiatives in product strategy, professional services, customer success and sales efficiency.
