Following Allied World's successful acquisition of RSA's HK & Singapore branches on 1st April 2015, my roles include PnL management, Business partnering with the Line of Business, Strategic & Financial Planning and Costs Budgeting, Monitoring & Control for the Singapore's Specialty Lines. I am also involved in the estimation and tracking of Large & Weather, claims reserving and RI out structures by working closely with actuarial, claims and reinsurance teams.

I was part of the Financial Planning & Analysis practice for RSA’s Asia Specialist and Reinsurance businesses (Global Specialty Lines). This is one of the most complex areas of general insurance dealing with large insurance risks across 8 currencies & 9 legal entities - including direct as well as inward RI businesses and multiple RI out arrangements. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

In my stint in the Asia Regional Office, I worked within the regional FP&A function that is responsible for managing the operational planning and performance management cycles.  I worked with stakeholders across the Asia Pacific and Middle East region to deliver the regional FP&A framework that helped to ensure challenging business goals, maximise business performance and supported decision making throughout the planning and performance cycle.  I understood the links between the financial and business operating models, and used financial information to understand and support improved business performance across the Region.

In my capacity as an Audit Team Lead, I was assigned to audit various large-sized audit clients. My duties and responsibilities include those of an auditor in charge of team engaged in audits including due diligence work. I was responsible in planning of audit engagements, analysis of clients' financial performance, completing of assignments and providing guidance and training to other team members. I was also involved in audit fieldwork, which included the review and evaluation of the internal accounting control systems, testing of transactions and balances and the preparation of financial statements and reports to management.
