From award-winning high growth technology businesses to successful Sri Lankan street food restaurant groups, I've spent more than a decade building businesses from the ground up and scaling them. I can’t believe it’s already time to review 2025 and start making predictions for 2026.

This year didn’t feel like 12 months… it felt like a blur with a to-do list.

That really hit me when I logged onto the Mindtools Podcast with the two Rosses and realised we were already talking about the year in past tense. How did we get here so fast?

And yes… can we take a moment to appreciate this extremely flattering freeze frame? If 2025 had a face, it would probably look exactly like this.

Looking back was a reminder of how fast L&D, AI, and the whole ecosystem is shifting… and how much clarity you get when you pause long enough to actually reflect.
