My role as a Quality Assurance gave me a good understanding of software development processes and tools.
One of my activities was to be informed about the  work progress of the web apps. I tested the sections that were finished.
I used to communicate with the clients, to knew their requirements, their requirements were translated into sections of the web app, which were the main problems with the old website.  I analyzed the sections that we had to focus on and what sections we had to improve.
I tested the web applications with the main focus to find bugs.
I used to see Gantt diagram continuously, to see if the deadline of the sections was respected or not.
I had to report the job of the programmers, the problems that we were having, to report about the deadlines of the sections, if the programmers were respecting the deadlines or not.
