While reporting to the Head of Global D&I, managed the global ERG Program for Booking.com (23k+ employees)
- Created and rolled out Global ERG Strategy
- Created and rolled-out technical ERG Framework (roles & responsibilities, operating model, Annual ERG Planning Process, ERG Academy, ERG Recognition Program, Regionalization strategy of ERGs). 
- Continuously coached ERG chairs and ERG Executive Sponsors (SVPs and VPs).
- Reviewed and approved content from all ERGs chapters, with stakeholder management mainly from EMEA (Europe) and Americas as well as managed global ERG budget
- Acted as a proxy among ERGs and global stakeholders like Communications, Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Marketing, etc.
- Created evaluation metrics for the ERG program and continuously reported back to the leadership team.

Main challenges: Change Management in an organisation growing from startup to big org, setting expectations and driving change with a legacy team, mediation of conflicts among stakeholders, managing hard conversations, building bridges, leveraging connections, engaging stakeholders into the D&I journey.

Responsible for leading the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy for a high tech non-profit. I created the DEI strategy while launched and managed a fully distributed global team. 

Partnered with Talent Acquisition to revisit 100% of global recruiting processes for more diverse sourcing, equitable hiring processes and less-biased decision-making.

Enhanced cultural intelligence by promoting GlobeSmart tool and facilitating discussions with employees from different countries of the world, explaining cultural dimensions and styles.

All of that while growing my genealogical tree, learning more about personal finance and coding on my free time.

Director of Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Created the Regional LATAM D&I office from scratch;  Assessed the needs and created a Regional DEI strategy every year, while aligning with global D&I and the local business. Transitioned to a D&I culture with high advocacy, sense of belonging and strong buy-in from the leadership team. Managed budget and decision-making on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. 

In 5 years, Increased 5% of underrepresented minorities, such as Women in Leadership, racial minorities, LGBTQIA+ and people with disabilities. 

Launched 30+ ERGs in the region of Latin America & the Caribbean, covering all geographies (15+ offices) and all D&I dimensions (Gender, LGBT+, Race & Ethnicity, Generations, Differently-Abled, Cultures). Provided regular support, coaching and development opportunities to ERGs.

Regularly advised c-levels on Inclusive Leadership and provided actionable advice to enhance DEI in their orgs.

Regularly partnered with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to support business needs from their clients and ensure DEI strategy would reflect the local needs from each country in the Latin American region.

Acted as an ambassador for D&I in the region, provided regular guidance to stakeholders on D&I-related matters and regularly identified opportunities for growth and consolidation of the D&I strategy.

Expanded Autism at Work Program to 5 countries across Latin America. The challenge was importing a model from Europe and making sustainable in emerging markets with lack of infrastructure and qualified business partners. The program earned 5+ awards and hired 0.5% of the workforce as part of the Autism Spectrum.

Acted regularly as the DEI spokesperson with the media and external partners. Participated at major customer events globally and within all Latin American Market Units. Regularly met customers to discuss DEI or position DEI at their organizations. Designed a DEI Customer Program that touched 1B+ EUR in pipeline in 2019.

Director of Diversity & Inclusion - Latin America & Caribbean

Responsible for roadmap definition, develop and explain strategy, organizing and moderating team meetings, perform internal communication and communication through corporate media channels, budget requests and administration, managing team conflicts, taking critical decisions, distributing and managing tasks between team members, representing the team to external partners (LGBT conferences) and internal stakeholders (SAP Labs Latin America, SAP Brazil, Pride@SAP Core, Global Diversity & Inclusion Office), organizing external events (SAP LGBT Summit). Created one of the most engaged employee networks from SAP and one of the largest LGBT employee networks from SAP.

Coaching new leads from LGBT employee network (Latin America, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, India, and Australia/NZ)

Leading 50% of members from SAP's LGBT employee network.

Increased membership from 300 to 8,000+ members.

While reporting to the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer:

Acted as PMO for 100+ Employee Resource Groups worldwide. Expanded local ERG chapters from 20 to 100+ while creating a high engaged ERG culture. Most chapters from EMEA markets.

Developed and launched first Global DEI Learning Program for 100,000+ employees worldwide. Developed modules on gender identity, sexual orientation, race & ethnicity, cultural intelligence, among others. Launched a pilot for the EMEA region.

Acted as PMO from DEI + Global Talent Acquisition Program, with the goal of creating a plan to increase under represented minorities at SAP.

With over twelve years of experience in leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in global matrixed organizations, I am passionate about creating inclusive cultures where everyone can thrive and belong. As the Director of DEI for Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America, I set the vision and drive the strategy for advancing DEI across the region, working closely with senior executives, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

My core competencies include C-Level Consulting, Influencing, Strategic Thinking and People Management. I have also been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the 30 future LGBT leaders of the world, and by the Brazilian Lawyers Union as a catalyst of DEI initiatives. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
