Senior Internal Auditor for DJO Global, a multinational medical device manufacturer and distributor of $1.2 Billion in annual sales throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.  Nicholas has experience in financial audit planning including the development of the company’s risk control matrix, control scope, and financial materiality determination.   Nicholas assists the external auditor’s evolution of the SOX 404 opinion by testing the design and operation of financial and IT controls as well as substantive valuation testing.  Nicholas has manufacturing, distribution, and inventory audit control and valuation experience in both US and Mexico manufacturing locations.

Senior Internal Auditor

Responsible for large, complex clients to address Sarbanes Oxley 404 and financial statement reporting requirements from a consultative, external audit, internal audit, and service organization (SOC1&2) perspective. This experience includes defining control environments, developing testing strategies, analyzing documented test results, testing IT general controls, application controls, and managing local and global teams. Nicholas has also assisted clients with their remediation efforts. Additionally, Nicholas has been able to leverage his knowledge and experience of risk and controls to support service organization control testing, documentation, and report issuing. Nicholas has significant project management and engagement execution experience.
