My passion for nature developed as a child during my times as a scout. I loved playing in the woods with my friends and going on adventures, and I want my children to have these experiences later on as well. With our Swiss clothing brand NIKIN, which we founded in 2016 with CHF 5,000 starting capital, we are committed to doing that, among other things. Because besides nature, my second passion is around performance marketing, social media & eCommerce and with NIKIN I can combine both. 🌲 For every product sold, we plant a tree and we have already planted over 2'000'000 trees worldwide. Together with our partner One Tree Planted, we are helping to make the world a little greener again. 🏆 The fact that three years after our founding, in 2019, we were part of the top 3 at the Swiss Economic Award and in the same year were chosen as "Swiss Brand of the Year" in the category of clothing for "cost-benefit" makes me particularly proud. 🏆 The greatest honor for my very good friend and Co-Founder Robin, my wife Carla and the entire NIKIN team was making it to the "Forbes Under 30 Europe 2021 List" in the section "Social Impact", the "Forbes Under 30 DACH List", my award as "Aargauer of the Year 2019" and being part of the "100 Most Successful Swiss Under 40 in 2022". Without them, this would not have been possible. What started as a crazy idea with Robin and me, today comprises a team of about 50 people and we are proud to say that we were completely bootstrapped and independent of investors until early 2023. In early 2023 we closed our first funding round with a successful crowdinvesting round where 5 million was raised from over 4'000 investors from the community.
