Network Engineer

Technology Leadership Program 2013 Graduate
-Develop technical foundation, business acumen, and leadership via a two-year program consisting of three rotations throughout Vanguard's Information Technology Sub-Divisions.

3rd Rotation - 
Environments Support Analyst: Define application requirements, plan infrastructure architecture, troubleshoot newly provisioned regions while communicating effectively to management and development teams. 

2nd Rotation -
Tier 2 Network Administrator: Global Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Responsibilities include the configuration, implementation, scripting and SSL certificate termination for Vanguard's global content routing and load balancing web environment. (F5 Big IP LTM,GTM,traffic management shell, IBM Xi50 Datapower XML appliances) 

First Rotation - 
Tier 2 Unix/Linux Systems Administrator:

Member of a highly technical team providing  24x7x365 systems operations monitoring, maintenance and support of Vanguard's virtual and physical server infrastructure running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Sun Solaris operating systems. The role is responsible for supporting the technologies and applications that power Vanguard.

Information Systems Engineer

Systems Operations Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to web browsers, operating systems, video conferencing, mobile devices, network and basic printer settings
-Run installations, repairs and provide user support on third-party software
-Research, identify and document "work-arounds" for known web-based software issues
-Open, document and followup elevated research tickets to/from tier 3 technicians
-SharePoint 2010 administration

Help Desk Associate - Web Technical Support

FINRA licenses:
-Series 6 and 63
-Licensing Proctor for May and June new hires

Skill Set:
-Traditional/Roth IRA, UTMA/UGMA, ESA, Trust, ETF and general investing accounts

Job Responsibilities:
-Manage retail client relationships with AUM up to $1,000,000
- Strong knowledge of Vanguard funds; financial markets; relevant legal, tax, and regulatory issues; asset allocation models; and retirement programs.
-Demonstrate effective client relationship management skills
-Conduct top-down approach  investment discussions 
-Facilitate side-by-side coaching sessions

Customer Relations Associate

Experienced automation engineer with practical development experience in Go, Python, PHP, and shell scripting. An advocate of process improvement through orchestration, gitops, and the movement toward workloads on immutable infrastructure.
