Direct comprehensive financial performance analysis to gain insight into business trends and identify key drivers of business. Liaise with Cholesterol Joint Venture partner, Merck, on balance sheet, rebate reserve analysis, cash issues, contract compliance, Sarbanes Oxley and audit issues. • Conduct in-depth financial review/analysis/interpretation of financial forecasts, budgets, operating and strategic plans and other reports (IMS data). Analyze significant variances from planned or forecasted results and provide commentary and recommendations to executive management to enhance strategic decision making (Two Marketing Vice Presidents and Senior Finance management, including CFO). • Developed and implemented processes that improved analysis, reporting and forecasting of financial results and risk and opportunity identification, which enabled brand management to more effectively drive the business.
