Business Development Manager

Responsible for the day-to-day welfare of 565 Soldiers (some of whom come with an array of difficulties, ranging from being illiterate, to coming from abusive backgrounds).  Currently responsible for 177 Families including children.  This job has its challenges, but the rewards and benefits for devoted time and effort are endless.

•	Supporting Mental health and wellbeing of soldiers and families.
•	Financial advice and support.
•	Liaise with local authority for both Adult and Children services.
•	Safe guarding lead of children and adults; Including Domestic abuse and violence.
•	Deliver briefings for Pre-deployment and family arrivals.

Welfare Officer

Infantry Soldier

In principal, responsible to the Executive officer for advice and assistance on all elements of training.  Certain aspects of company training/ co-ordination are permanently delegated to the Senior Instructor by order of the Executive Officer and Commanding Officer.  The Senior Instructor must work closely with their Company Hierarchy and Civil Servants to ensure training is properly planned, resourced and executed. 

•	Judgement - Balancing the needs of the service against those of the individual.
•	Communications - Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
•	Personal Effectiveness - Maturity and credibility to advise the Chain of Command and liaise effectively with both internal and external organisations.
•	Management - Managing a complex team and work schedule.

Senior Training Instructor

Responsible for the training, leadership and welfare of 150 personnel.  This would include their professional development, preparing them for future courses, completing appraisals, ensuring their welfare, and supporting them with all aspects of their career development.  

•	Administrate 150 of soldiers with vehicles and equipment to deploy on exercise or operations on a global scale.
•	Manage and maintain facilities and accommodation.
•	Company Health and Safety lead.
•	Carry out stock checks on a daily, weekly, monthly and Quarterly basis.
•	Management of Accounts using numerous Computer system programmes. 
•	Quality control – Delivery of safe equipment on a large scale to tight deadlines.

Line Manager – Senior Stores Manager 

As a Senior Instructor of Cambridge UOTC, I played a very influential role in discovering talent and potential new officers to join the Army.  Working in conjunction with numerous Cambridge Universities to deliver a fun and challenging training programme to offer a new career pathway opportunity for future employment.

•	Responsible for training, leadership, welfare and development of soldiers.
•	Writing regular appraisals and reports to enhance potential of Officers performance.
•	Coordinate, plan and deliver intensive training in key subjects: Fieldcraft skills, fitness, marksmanship, first aid, counter insurgency and cultural awareness.
•	Deliver training incorporating a vast range of learning styles – Kinaesthetic Auditory and visual elements.
•	Support to instructors and potential officers at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
