Working with the resources of the global and regional virtual teams, I had complete responsibility for all activity in A/NZ; including strategy, channel & alliance marketing, PR, demand generation & pipeline acceleration, social & digital marketing, marketing communications and marketing operations.
My key task was to develop the A/NZ marketing strategy in line with Global and APCJ objectives, measured by both ‘funnel’ metrics and sales pipeline contribution, and then go execute it. I had overall budget responsibility for A/NZ, and accountability for co-op funds into the Channel.

As Group Manager, Technology & Solutions Marketing I led a new data driven and market centric approach and structure to identify, map and provide demand and revenue generating marketing programs through the thought leadership of emerging technology and business trends. I was responsible for setting and delivering go-to-market strategies, revenue and demand generating campaigns and programs, creating channel and alliance programs and sponsorships, budget management and management of staff performance against revenue targets and other KPIs.

As Group Manager, Segment Marketing I championed the development and restructuring of the group to a segment-based alignment to capitalise on segment & market insights, and instigated the development and utilisation of customer & data analytics to gain insight for new opportunities for revenue growth.  I worked alongside the Product Management and Mid-market, Corporate and Enterprise, and Government Sales GMs to create and execute segment-based Marketing plans that would exceed annual revenue targets by delivering demand and revenue generating campaigns and programs.

I was responsible for setting and delivering go-to-market strategies, demand and revenue generating campaigns and programs, key product launches, creating channel and alliance programs and sponsorships, budget management and management of staff performance against revenue targets and other KPIs.  I led, launched and marketed a broad range of technologies including cloud solutions, enterprise collaboration and unified communications, security, BYOD and mobilising the enterprise, enterprise data centres and networking, contact centres and much more.

I am a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practising Marketer (FAMI CPM) and a champion of "revenue marketing", aligning the marketing function to the business goals and working collaboratively with the sales and customer success organisations. I have worked in both top down sales-led organisations and bottom up product-led organisations with success.
