• Worked with 40 clients over 5 years ranging from startups to middle market private equity backed companies in a range of industries (constructions, transportation, medical device, tech, real estate, car washes, SaaS companies)
• Developed three statement pro-forma financial models (income statement, balance sheet, & cash flow)
• Lead the budget process and created driver based, plug and play budget models for many clients

My positions was a short term analyst contract where I:
• Created an interest rate swap valuation tool
• Produced data validation tools
• Built a customer portfolio valuation  model
• Provided loan balance and risk sensitivity analyses

Senior Financial Analyst - Contractor

The Schwan Food Company

•Responsible for planning and forecasting $300M of selling and human resources expenses
•Increased wage and commission forecast accuracy by understanding historical trends and incorporating them into monthly forecasting
•Developed tools to measure and track new initiatives at macro and micro levels allowing leadership to make key decisions and the field to manage their efforts
•Partnered with sales leadership to develop the business case, overall plan, and implementation of a new customer acquisition strategy, presenting the risks and opportunities to all levels of management
•Partnered with senior leadership to develop new compensation strategies, providing analysis to clearly convey the potential financial benefit while taking into consideration the human capital risks
•Recruited as an integral player on a cross functional team to define a hypothesis as to why employee turnover is so high, then provided recommendations to the senior leadership team to improve the job

Senior Financial Analyst

Target

I supported Target's logistics team from a financial planning and analysis perspective. My responsibilities included:
•Prepared and presented to senior leadership business cases and NPV analyses for capital projects within logistics (including lease agreements, facilities mergers and moves, etc)
•Developed, analyzed, and communicated monthly results with distribution and finance leadership
•Created relationships with logistics clients, establishing partnerships with them on all major projects
•Partnered with clients to develop annual budgets, long term planning, and forecast results
•Partnered with business intelligence to implement new ad-hoc and reporting capabilities via SAP’s BPC, eliminating over 60 hours of work each month
•On boarded and mentored a new financial analyst by helping her understand financial processes and build relationships with business partners

Financial Analyst - Transportation Finance

In this role I supported Target’s private label buyers and marketing managers, providing them with reporting, analysis, and thought partnership. My duties and accomplishments in this role included:
•Provided owned brand marketing with financial insights during brand reinvention projects
•Provided inventory analysis when exiting or transitioning brands
•Reinvented owned brand reporting by reducing the complexity and effort required to produce, reducing monthly time commitment by 30 hours
•Transitioned and directed reporting duties with the Target India team

Lead Financial Planning Analyst - Merchandise Finance

Boston Scientific

In this role I partnered with business clients and developers to implement phase two of Boston Scientific’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. My duties and accomplishments included:
•Partnered with three different functional teams to gather requirements for 85 enhancements to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
•Wrote high level design documents for enhancements to CRM software
•Summarized and communicated design changes to management for approval
•Served as the liaison between the contracted developers and the end users

Business Systems Analyst

In this role I supported Target’s stock ledger, the system that calculates gross margin and ending inventory. I was responsible internal reporting, system enhancements, and ensuring data accuracy. My duties and accomplishments in this role include:
•Implemented process improvements for numerous weekly and monthly tasks in Excel and Access, making reporting less complex and more efficient
•Analyzed impact to affected clients when there were data errors
•Created, reviewed, and communicated requirements for data mart and Microstrategy implementation
•Lead the development of small business enhancement requests in the data warehouse and Hyperion Essbase cube

Accountant - Internal Financial Reporting

With a decade-long foundation in big-company finance and accounting roles, I've honed my expertise in driving financial strategy and implementing robust systems. Over the past six plus years, I've dedicated my focus to consulting, collaborating with startups to private equity-backed middle-market enterprises, igniting their growth trajectories through best-in-class FP&A processes and scalable systems.
