Served as a cross-functional consultant across this petro-retailing MNC, with specific focus on leading & advising the development of the Shell Select Offer, format, and design into convenience retailing alliance markets such as Indonesia (Circle K) and Singapore (7Eleven). 

Local category offer development including customer mission assessments, merchandising, supply chain, and operational execution.

Developed and implemented a co-locator/clip strategy for partner recruitment, assessment, commercial negotiation, and contract management / execution

Delivery of the annual marketing planning and budgeting for Hong Kong and Indonesia; provided full stakeholder management planning and delivery and internal and external communications advice.

Management Consultant (Freelance) | Sales & Marketing 

Z Energy

Reported directly to the National Sales Manager; responsible for providing effective management of a $100M+ portfolio of existing customers. Successfully implemented a focused business development plan and maintained ongoing, respected relationships with clients ranging from small and medium sized business to large, commercial corporate businesses across a wide-range of industries and markets. 

Major highlights:
•	Achieved margin and volume growth through effective portfolio management – margin management, contract creation and negotiations. Completed regular customer analysis, prepared account reviews, and executed formal reviews resulting in the development of value-added opportunities for clients further enhancing the existing portfolio. 
•	Achieved a positive shift in the health of client relationships achieving an average relationship management score of 4.5/5 over 5 quarters.
•	Consistently built and maintained strategic relationships with clients.
•	Liaised with key decision makers within the corporate account portfolio
•	Ensured the maintenance of strong effective lines of communication resulting in a respected, growing business environment.

Commercial Sales Manager

Providing support to the senior Marketers in the team, I additionally held responsibility for the planning and execution of retail and commercial marketing activity with a strong focus on building brand awareness in support of strategic business goals. As one of the few team members involved in the Z brand I developed and executed: 

•	Management of the day-to-day relationships with Zs agencies, drafting and executing customer communications to strengthen our corporate reputation, build brand awareness and support strategic business goals.
•	Retail and commercial marketing planning and execution, including the design of retail promotions.
•	Customer communications across all mediums, print, digital, and social media.
•	Supporting brand guidelines for Z and providing marketing support to the wider business.
•	Key leadership role in the logistical execution of the re-branding process for the commercial business across all of Z’s assets. 

Success in this role can be measured in part through the skills I gained during the re-branding process. Additionally:

•	Being a core team member that created a respected and new brand, involved across all aspects from inception stage right through the brand project, from market research to brand launch and execution.
•	Design and delivery of a new marketing communication to Zs 8,000 commercial fuels customers. This new piece of communication provided a chance to profile the new brand, show our difference and be more involved with our customers on the day-to-day activities happening within their sectors.

Retail & Commercial B2B Marketing Specialist

Providing analytical and communication support to site staff, the sales team and the wider senior retail team in structured channels, and on an ad hoc basis as required. Working across all areas of the retail business to help with the delivery of strategic choices for the year. Key responsibilities included:

•	Monthly leadership team reporting, territory management and cluster reporting/analysis (sales, margins, volumes etc.).
•	Site staff monthly communication via newsletter.
•	Facilitation of changes in fuel pricing, billing and setting up new supplier contracts,
•	Providing support to the Senior Analyst, including assisting with weekly reporting to the GM and Sales Manager.
•	Delivery of retail site logistics including 2,500 site staff uniforms, retail site staff training program logistics and content.

Retail Operations Analyst

Gaining a graduate role, I was able to develop and understanding of the oil industry and began to build relationships across the business and complete a period of time working in the retail business. This included:

•	Spending a month working on several retail sites going through all aspects of the retail operations. 
•	One month working as a cluster operations manager implementing a change project across 9 retail sites of operation. 
•	Providing support to the Retail and Training Manger with the development of a retail site staff training module.
•	Surveying retailers across all aspects of retail operations.
•	Providing cover for the Retail Territory Manager when required.
