I had an interest in the internet at an early age, and at 16, I was hired as a Graphic Designer/Web Assistant at Bike Nashbar, where I began to help design and put out a quarterly 85 page catalog along with updating the website with new products. Within a year I took over as the Webmaster, where I spent the next two years helping to build their custom eCommerce solution that stocked more products than Amazon had books at the time. It was an amazing experience where I got to learn from some of the most brilliant developers in the field on how to leverage my experience in development for marketing purposes. My eyes were wide open to the possibilities. I continued to cut my teeth in the advertising and marketing space at Marcus Thomas - where I spent over four years developing cutting edge interactive solutions for companies such as Alltel, Dunlop, Goodyear, the Cleveland Browns, Pfaltzgraff, Johnsonite, and Glidden, to name a few. In that time I also helped with print design and digital ad design, and due to my professional writing experience, started to help pen ad and brochure copy. I spent the next 11 years working as the Interactive Director for PALO, where I helped sell their solutions, create scope documentation, plan and execute marketing campaigns, and led a dev team that built out interactive experiences, e-commerce solutions, and custom programming solutions on an enterprise level for clients such as Parker Hannifin, Heritage Plastics, Talmer Bank, the Pittsburgh Airport, Gateway Health, and InVolta. I worked at iSynergy as the VP of Technology for six years from 2017 to 2023, where I helped clients realize their analog dreams using digital technology. I had the opportunity to work with both International and National clientele, including TecEx, Mickey Thompson, Baird Brothers, Meridian Healthcare, Youngstown Live, and YSN Live, to name a few. The team I led there used collaboration and creativity to breathe life into each of the projects, with a keen focus on research, SEO, SEM, and mobile optimization. Using these techniques, we built solutions that ultimately provided measurable results to each and every client that enhanced their bottom line. After over 25 years on the Agency side, I wanted to transition into something Client side where I could more effectively use all of my skills on a focused set of campaign goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing team at Window Depot USA, and can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
