ProductTank Karlsruhe

ProductTank was founded in 2010 in London and today spans over 200 cities.
ProductTank is an informal meetup that brings together the local product community in each of those cities – whether they’re Product Managers, Designers, or Developers – to share their experience. ProductTanks are always free to attend, organized by volunteers from the local product community, and supported by our generous sponsors.

ProductTank Karlsruhe provides an opportunity for Product People in and around Karlsruhe to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.

Since our inaugural event in September 2017 we meet every 6-8 weeks and usually host talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, design, UX or business and networking opportunities.

My responsibilities and achievements:
- planning and hosting of our Meetup every 6-8 weeks together with Alide von Bornhaupt and Thomas Leitermann
- acquiring of local, national and international speakers (amongst them were Jeff Gothelf, Melissa Perri, Teresa Tores, David J. Bland, Chris Long and many more)
- managing a growing community of almost 800 members
- acquiring and managing of the local companies sponsoring us
- networking and knowledge exchange with other international organizers of the +200 cities
- sharing my knowledge and experiences by being a speaker myself

💡 An agile evangelist, a seasoned product owner and a strong problem solver, I see myself as a bridge builder between technology and the business. I am passionate about solving my customers' problems by delivering solutions that have a high impact on their everyday life!

🛠  I have profound knowledge in the area of platform development and cloud technologies. In addition to that, I have a high interest in all topics around agile product development, Management 3.0 methodologies and tools as well as diving into modern ways of leadership. 

🏅 After starting my career as a software developer and product owner at Qognify GmbH (formerly SeeTec GmbH) I joined Sophos as Product Owner IaaS developing several #1 ranked security solutions for workloads running in AWS and Microsoft Azure.

📅  In 2018 I joined AXOOM, a former TRUMPF startup and started as Chief Product Owner before becoming responsible for the development and UX department building an industrial IoT platform. AXOOM has been acquired by GFT in 2019.
