It also provides support and technical assistance to program managers and grantees regarding Single Assurance requirements, budgets, fiscal reporting and funding projections. In this position I was responsible for supporting Colorado's 179 school districts in the administration of Federal ESSA formula Grants.

In this position I was responsible for processing payments to school districts, intake of budget documents and customer service to School Districts.  I was also part of the E-Grants Implementation work group, focusing on configuration of online grant applications in the Colorado Online Grants Management System (COGMS).

The Competitive Grants and Awards Unit is dedicated to enhancing school improvement through federal and state grant opportunities. We offer support to students, teachers and administrators in the application and funding process for the competitive grant and award programs at CDE.  In this role, I was responsible for intake of applications, scheduling trainings and application reviews, and database management.  I was involved in additional working groups for NCLB Monitoring (2011), NCLB Consolidated Application (2012) and E-Grants Implementation (2013).

As North Denver's youngest female bar owner, developed a successful concept-bar with a pirate theme, specializing in providing live entertainment from bands, poker tournaments, pool leagues, and other special themed events.  In this capacity, I grew the business from the conceptual stage of writing a business plan and applying for permits, to a thriving venue.
