Lead and manage all facets of the Human Resources and Training (Learning & Practice Proficiency) work for a NYC-based child welfare organization which employs just under 600 employees. Maintain focus on a strategic vision which calls for attracting, supporting, retaining and developing the excellent talent needed at all levels of the organization to advance the organization's mission. Some specific responsibilities include the management of:

•	a data-informed and cost-conscious staff recruitment strategy which attends to the organization’s continuously updated talent needs,
•	in-service, practice-related training strategies; will include measures to continuously strengthen the leadership skills of our supervisors and managers,
•	a continuously strengthened workforce compensation and benefit package;  
•	a robust staff internship program designed to provide a direct impact for our programs while building a strong, pre-trained pool of future employment candidates,
•	the implementation of proactive responses to changes in statute, regulations, NLRB directives, court decisions, state and local labor standards and policies which may present compliance issues
•	and the assessment of all human resources related  risk to the organization, including responsibility for how all discipline, up to and including termination, is administered,
•	the organization’s employee well-being program which, informed by employee satisfaction survey data and other means, supports the workforce’s overall health and best interests as consumers,
•	all collective bargaining and labor contract administration functions,
•	key human resources workflows-- introducing technology-aided solutions and productivity boosters, as needed, and
•	 the organization’s employee evaluation system which is the main tool used by Graham Windham for determining how its merit pay pool will be distributed on an annual basis.
