Portfolio Support Executive

Understanding portfolio's business models, markets, funding needs and risk profiles

Gather and analyze financial information, then presenting recommendations regarding clients' facilities

Purchasing recommendations on invoices (Invoice Discounting Facility)
Full credit control function on multiple debtors’ books
Managing, training and guiding clients Debtors clerks in making sure all statements and invoices are 
accurate at month end.
Guiding both the Debtors clerk and the client with their cash flow on a monthly basis which in turn 
improves their growth.
Minimizing risk in a high-performance culture
Reconciliations of accounts with both debtors and clients
Preparing journals, discounts, rebates 
Processing of the bank daily
Collections on multiple debtors’ books
Various ad hoc credit control duties
Liaising and building trustworthy and knowledgeable relationships with clients as well as their 
debtors.
Credit vetting on behalf of the client.
Preparing special excel statements for certain debtors most blue-chip companies
Handover of bad debt on behalf of the client.
Processing data in accordance to the ITC, Bank Code and CIPCI
Upkeep on insured premiums are up to date as the company holds cession of the policy.
Preparing of the monthly declarations to the insurer such as CGIC/ Santum etc. 
Processing annexure numbers and insured limits are in line with purchasing of invoices (80% of 
the insured limit granted).
Financial forecast and month end projections for clients
Weekly and monthly reporting to both clients and manager
Portfolio consists of 11 clients with a book value of R40 million varying from Logistics, FMCG, Cross 
border etc.

Credit Controller

Importing client invoice schedules onto system a scheduled basis
Verifying invoices / delivery notes
Assisting clients with online system
Creating a smoother workflow within team 
Keeping track of Purchase Orders 
Assisting with Take-Ons of new clients
Standing-in in the absence of Manager and 2IC - assisting the team with queries

Verification Administrator

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively
within the team and internal & external clients.
Excellent telephone etiquette.
Time management shown in daily activities.
Working independently and follow instructions without close supervision.
Demonstrate ability to meet demands of internal and external stakeholders
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
