As long as I could remember I've always been someone who analyzed and delved into finding information and researching to solve issues; even in my personal time when I hear of something that peaks my interest I dig into the topic to find more information. My need to deep dive into research and problem solve helps me to resolve patients accounts at work. Monday-Friday via phone and live chat I help patients with posting payments, adding and billing insurance, understanding why they have a balance on their account, setting up payment plans and discussing payment options whether its offering discounts or screening patients for financial assistance and reviewing accounts when there is discrepancies I send accounts to different work-queues to the appropriate departments to be resolved. My compassion for the patients drives me to be empathic, to hear the patient out and drives me to provide great customer service. My ability to analyze and research billing issues and keep track of trends allows me to assist in driving revenue up for the many hospitals I work with. Some things I love: Spending time with my family, puzzles, art, sewing, drawing ,painting, knitting most of all crafts, reading, researching, teaching, cooking learning new recipes altering them and sharing it with others, history, helping my friends and others, learning new things and helping others learn it too, watching black in white movies, criminal investigation dramas and true crime shows and podcast. Some of the greatest compliments I received from my coworkers is I always prioritize the patients, customers and coworkers I assist and I am a great trainer and teach them skills they use to complete their daily task. I'm known for being honest, helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I have met productivity for the past three months and have obtained higher than a 95% of a quality assurance score in my current role . In the past I have helped patients to come up with 90 meal plans for breakfast ,lunch and dinner for 3 years.I have obtained several golden spoons for customer service, team work and dedication. Obtained my Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Certificate in May 2022 and my Certified Billing and Coding Specialist certificate in May 2021.
